PA and DJ
We have a complete setup available for everything from small to very large events, and we use only professional-grade equipment.  Some DJ's would show up at your event with an I-POD or a home stereo system.  We use the same equipment used in nightclubs and churches, which means you get what you pay for.

When you hire us you get incredible sound and lighting.  Not your average DJ.

RATES: My rates are mid to low in this field.

Simple sound setup for music only (ie. wedding ceremony)
     runs from $150 to $350.

Simple DJ setup for dancing for 4 hours starts at $400.

Basic DJ setup with lights for 4 hours starts at $450.

Basic DJ setup with intelligent lights and a wireless microphone
     starts at $500.

Mixed setup for both a band and a DJ starts at $550.

Basic PA starts at only $350.

     Large PA starts at $450.

Full blown PA with 15,000 watts for large events starts at $1000
for a half day, and $2000 for a full day.

These rates do vary depending on the event, location, how early we have to set up before the event, food provided at weddings and receptions, and most importantly how nice people are.  For example, if there are flights of stairs with no ramps or elevators for hauling up heavy equipment...

If you have any pricing questions, call us at 303-936-5789.

My rates are below most, but don't let that fool you.  I can put out more than 15,000 watts of sound when needed. I also do not drink or do drugs, so you don't have to worry about having a drunk Soundman mixing poorly by the end of the night, slurring words all over the microphones and thinking he's funny.  When I run sound, it's a job, and I maintain a professional attitude throughout the night.

All of my music is on a dedicated computer used only for DJ'ing. I have about 21,000 songs loaded
from CD onto my computer, easily searchable when people make requests.

So for bands, think about it... for about the price of just one microphone and monitor you can have me and all my equipment.  Speakers, cables, mic's, sound system and professional soundman.  I have a great soundguy reputation.  Many bands after using me just once don't want to play out without me again, and some bands work exclusively with me.  If you have questions or need to book me for a show, please e-mail me at slt.colorado@gmail.com or call me at 303-936-5789.

My roots in sound:
About 17 years ago, I was fortunate enough to catch the attention of a former Pink Floyd soundman. He liked me and the way I mixed music, so took me under his wing and gave me some personal training on mixing live sound. I learned a great deal from him and now 15 years later I have cannot even remember his name, but a special "Thank You" goes out to him for all the time he spent with me.
